March 1st - Twofold Bay

Walk coordinators: Jan and Neil Porter
Day walk
Distance: 10-ish km
Meeting place and time: 9:00, behind shops at Pambula (post office side of the street) for car pool to Eden.
Difficulty: easy with one 250 metre steep climb (electricity access track) and a few shorter, but steep, climbs.
Description: Start at Cocora Beach in Eden, and walk south along the scenic coast of Twofold Bay - the goal is to reach Currawulla Beach around lunchtime.  Return via similar route - morning will be mainly along bush tracks and beach, and the return trip after lunch will include rock hopping.
Terrain includes beach, bush tracks, access roads and exposed rocks at low tide - possibly some wading (low tide is around 1:00 pm).
Swimmers and a camera are highly recommended.

If this is your first walk with the Bega Valley Bushwalkers: please note that, while it has an "easy" classification, the distance and type of terrain require a reasonable level of fitness.  Bring at least a litre of water, morning tea and lunch, hat and sunscreen.
