26 April - Black Range

Day event
Walk Coordinator: Diane Moon
Meet: 9:00 AM at Corner of Princes Highway and Kerrison’s Lane (approx 3km
south of Bega)
Grade: moderate with some hard sections - please note change of degree of difficulty on this walk!
Distance: 8 km
Description: Moderate; with some harder sloping and slippery rocky sections - need to have good footwear and be sure footed.

A scenic walk mainly off track through bushland and along some fire trails. There are a couple of steep sections. Along the ridges we will have sweeping views to the west and east, we will skirt the base of stunning conglomerate cliffs and will visit some early mining sites.
